Progress of Images at the Cross and our major milestones:

We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the visionary leaders and selfless workers of Images
at the Cross for the completion of major milestones and helping this dream become a reality:

Milestone 1:

Site selected and land purchased. The Images property is geographically central to the United States in the heartland
of America. It is within a day’s car ride for more than 80 million people, which is almost 1/3 of all Americans.

Milestone 2:

We have a nonprofit Missouri Corporation Charter ‐ COMPLETED!

Milestone 3:

IRS granted Tax exempt status so all contributions are tax deductible – COMPLETED!

Milestone 4:

We have zoning approval (a miracle in itself) for a 20 story cross and multimedia center ‐ COMPLETED!

Milestone 5:

We have the website designed and operational ‐ COMPLETED!

Milestone 6:

We are extremely pleased to have the Branson community’s support and the enthusiastic buzz surrounding the project throughout the Christian world. ‐ ON GOING!

Where is Images at the Cross Going
and How Do We Get There?

Short term efforts to achieve the long term Organizational Goals include:

Prayer. Daily and Continuous Prayer for each other and Images. As we stand up for Christ, the men and women involved in Images realize that we will be targeted by the Enemy.

Building and maintaining momentum in a fundraising drive to private donors that will eventually transform into a self sustaining public fundraising drive to build facilities, provide for entertainment development and annually endow the organization.

Establishing a commitment by Christian minded leaders to serve in a Board of Directors providing oversight and a Board of Advisors providing guidance to an Executive Director. The Executive Director will manage the administration and staff of Images as well as the facility construction, entertainment development and public relations within the community.

Asking each donor to consider donating $10-$20/month for one year not only to provide a stable budget for Images and to build the Images Cross, but also as a spiritual challenge to monthly reevaluate themselves versus the priority of Seeking the Kingdom first.  Matthew 6:33.

The site of the Images Cross is seven miles north of Branson, Missouri, the Entertainment Capital of the Midwest, where often 300 tour buses visit a day.  It is approximately thirty miles south of the major city of Southwestern Missouri, Springfield, which has an international airport.

The Images property sits on the tallest promontory of the surrounding area, where U.S. 160 crosses U.S. 65.  With an annual traffic of over 3 million people, U.S. 65 is the major North-South artery between Springfield and Branson.

We are extremely pleased and thankful to have the Branson community’s support and enthusiasm in hosting the Images Cross.  Without that support, neither the zoning nor the variance to build would have been possible.

Governing and Advisory Board Members

Dean Brown
Founder
Dean is the founder and board chairman of Images at the Cross. Dean graduated from Branson High School and the University of Missouri. He was a veteran serving in Germany in Headquarters S-3 Plans with a top secret clearance. As an educator, he taught at Cassville, Missouri for six years. His 30 years of insurance experience started as an agent. After enormous success as an agent he quickly became a district manager. He moved up the ladder rapidly to training director, vice president, executive vice president and retired as president of a life insurance company that through his guidance ranked in the top 12 percent of all life insurance companies in America. To his credit he has 6 Who's Who listings.

Kerry Brown
Executive Director
Kerry is the Executive Director of Images at the Cross and also a Governing Board Member. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and Juris Doctor Degree in Law from Capitol University. He became a member of the Ohio Bar and an Officer of the Court in 1993. His experience includes management duties of a 67 unit apartment complex, and over eleven years administration in the banking industry. His administrative experience included five years in Investments working directly with the Chief Investment Officer and another five years as a Trust Real Estate Officer with fiduciary responsibility of 150 accounts totaling in excess of $250 million in value. Kerry is married to his best friend Joy and they are currently transitioning to Branson, Missouri, returning near his birthplace of Monett, Missouri to better facilitate the task of building Branson's Cross.

Ken Stoll
Every remarkable business is driven by a powerful vision of what should be. Mr. Stoll is the man who has nurtured and developed that vision which will make a difference in America. For a quarter century, Ken has held a soft spot in his heart for Americans who are looking to better their personal & financial lives if only they had an ally.
Mr. Stoll is more than a visionary. He holds a solid record of real world business success. Ken has a documented record of achievement in sales and marketing in highly competitive markets and has the ability to see the total picture of objectives necessary to execute, ensuring the success of the organization.

Matthew LaMey
Mr. LaMey has worked in partnership with Ken Stoll for over two decades and provides the operational and systems support which helps make good things happen. Matt coordinates and manages systems, customer & partner support and internal systems. He is the glue behind the scenes who ensures that day to day corporate systems continue to function seamlessly as designed.
Most recently he served the role of overseeing corporate operations of a large relationship marketing organization. Mr. LaMey is a skilled executive specializing in analyzing existing operations and implementing technologies to improve corporate efficiencies. His experience in payment processing, systems, IT and finance are integral to the Images At The Cross team’s success.

Carl Angel
Carl was raised on a small farm in southern Ohio. With the help of his parents and Army R.O.T.C. he was able to attend college and meet his wife and best friend Sharon. Carl’s career experience lies in 23 years of banking. He started in customer service. He quickly moved into compliance auditing, which required extensive travel across six states. Once his son was born he switched to underwriting consumer loans in order to be home every night with his family. He has just retired as a consumer lending specialist. Led by God, he now volunteers his time and experiences to help the Images at the Cross team.
